Fire Departments (despite their name) respond to many other emergencies than just fires. Approximately 70% - 85% of all fire-department 911 calls are for medical emergencies, and it is our duty and honor to respond.

In addition to fire and aid calls, North Highline Fire District also responds to a variety of "other" incidents - such as hazardous spills, flooding, natural gas leaks, water rescues, downed power lines, and even the occasional false alarms.
