North Highline Fire District is a combinanion department made up of both career and volunteer firefighters. Volunteers are trained for both aid and fire responses, they are involved in many community activities, and they participate in numerous public education events.
Volunteers typically sleep overnight at the station every nine nights, they respond from home to emergency calls as needed, and they attend a mandatory drill every Wednesday evening.
All volunteer applicants must live within the boundaries of the fire district or be actively seeking a fire service degree. However, North Highline Fire District is not currently accepting applications at this time.
